Buro Energy is a company that helps you obtain an energy label or make your home or business premises more sustainable. Affiliated with Stichting Energie Experts Nederland and Building Label Zeewolde.
Buro Energy was founded in 2003 and is led by Ed Scholte. Buro Energy originated from Organisatieburo Energy and Makelaardij Energy. Thanks to his technical background combined with his knowledge of the real estate sector, he became increasingly focused on the sustainability of homes, and the company was renamed Buro Energy.
Over the years, a great deal has changed in the field of sustainability. For example, the mandatory energy label for homeowners has been introduced, the use of solar panels has taken off, and home insulation is being heavily promoted. Buro Energy has developed in all of these areas.

Buro Energy is a co-founder of Stichting Energie Experts Nederland (Seen20), which accepts collective projects for, among others, municipalities, housing corporations, banks, VvE's (owners' associations), energy cooperatives and local working groups.
